Fly from Istanbul to Izmir, visit Smyrna and St. Polycarp Church, then continue to Pergamon and Bergama.
An early pickup from your Istanbul hotel begins the journey. Fly to Izmir, meet your guide, and visit Smyrna, including the exterior of St. Polycarp Church and the Agora.
Continue to Bergama for the ruins of ancient Pergamon and overnight in the Bergama area.

After breakfast and check-out, continue to ancient Thyatira, then to Sardis, the wealthy capital of the ancient Lydian kingdom. On the way to Pamukkale, visit Philadelphia and its remaining church and city-wall features before continuing to your overnight stay in Pamukkale.
